I haven’t had any experience with machine learning, and I wanted to explore the area without the stress coming from being graded. With some KATUSAs, we started studying the Stanford Machine Learning course provided online.

During the study, we’ve also read some papers on machine learning, but didn’t get to go through with the paper-reading sessions for long. Here are few notes that I’ve taken:
ImageNet Classification with Deep Convolutional Neural Networks
Batch Normalization: Accelerating Deep Network Training by Reducing Internal Covariate Shift
Still continued with reading papers on Bio/Brain Medical Devices because I was not sure whether I’d be 100% into the computer division. Slowly lost interest…
Calcium-Modified Silk Patch as a Next Generation Ultrasound Coupling Medium
Transcranial Focused Ultrasound Stimulation with High Spatial Resolution
Artifact-Free 2D Mapping of Neural Activity In Vivo through Transparent Gold Nanonetwork Array
My first goal before starting military was to read as many interesting books as possible before my ETS. Although not much, it was a great experience sharing thoughts and ideas about the books with my fellow KATUSAs.
The more number of stars, the most fun I’ve had reading. Clearly Stephen King was great.
I think I stopped with the stars here.
